Simon Scaife
Simon Scaife is the Technical Director of NuVech Solutions Ltd, bringing over three decades of experience in the vehicle logistics industry to his role. Starting as a HGV car transporter driver in his teens, Simon worked his way up through the ranks, holding positions as Transport Manager and Operations Manager before identifying a crucial training gap in the industry.
Driven by this insight, Simon established a specialised car transporter training company, where he recognised the most significant risk to operatives was working in live lanes and being exposed to passing traffic. This realisation led to the development of the AirBar for NuVech Solutions Ltd, a product that combines Simon's comprehensive understanding of drivers' needs and operations management requirements.
As the inventor of the AirBar, Simon is deeply passionate about saving lives on roads, focusing on both drivers and vulnerable road users. His greatest motivation comes from knowing that his product is actively contributing to road safety across various sectors.
Simon's hands-on approach to development has enabled him to adapt the AirBar system for use in vehicles ranging from vans to HGVs across all industry sectors. He remains actively involved in the continuous improvement of the product, leveraging his extensive industry knowledge to enhance its capabilities and applications.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Simon is an avid traveller and music enthusiast, often attending live music gigs. These personal interests contribute to his well-rounded perspective and drive for innovation in road safety solutions.

Lee Robinson
With 17 years of experience as a process operative in manufacturing companies, Lee has developed a deep understanding of production processes and operational efficiency. Leveraging this expertise, he transitioned into a leadership role as a factory manager at NuVech, where he oversees day-to-day operations, ensures the highest standards of quality control, implements process improvements, and drives us towards achieving production goals.
He has extensive Production Process Knowledge, Problem-Solving Skills, Quality Assurance, Communication Skills, Time Management, and as part of our continuous improvement ethos has extended his Leadership and Management skills by gaining the Chartered manager qualification last year.
Lee says having an impact on enhancing roadside safety and making a difference for individuals who are exposed to dangerous roadside conditions is a key motivator for this role, knowing that the products leaving the factory are having a real impact and saving lives.
Lee has a keen interest in music, film and tattoos, as well as spending time with his children - and if he could instantly master one skill it would be to play piano.
