What is the AirBar?
The AirBar is a deployable safety device that creates safer working zones around LGVs and HGVs. It also features Cycle-Safe, a warning system that alerts cyclists to the dangers of entering the blind spots of a turning vehicle.

How does the AirBar work?
The AirBar deploys either from in the cab when stationary, or automatically when a vehicle is indicating and nearside turning, using lightweight, inflatable, extending arms to form a physical visible warning around the vehicle. This ensures a safer workspace for drivers and alerts nearby cyclists and pedestrians.

How does the AirBar inflate?
The AirBar utilises the vehicle’s onboard air supply, taken from a protected source, such as the auxiliary air supply. If there is no onboard air available, we can supply a compressor unit.

Cycle-Safe is an optional feature of the AirBar, that warns cyclists when a vehicle is turning, helping to prevent dangerous incidents caused by limited visibility and blind spots.
